Nutana Suburban Centre is located in south-central Saskatoon. Unlike most communities, it does not have any single-family detached homes. It is made up entirely of businesses, high-density condominiums, and row houses. The community is home to Walter Murray Collegiate and Holy Cross High School, which serve students from many surrounding communities.
The Nutana Suburban Centre does a great job at providing many recreational activities for residents of surrounding neighbourhoods to take part in. The main commercial business is Market Mall, which is Saskatoon’s oldest enclosed shopping centre. Located in the mall, Move N Soar offers a variety of fitness classes for adults and children and the 18-hole mini golf course entertains individuals of all ages. It’s also host to many special events like the Market Mall Baby Crawl and an Antique Show & Sale.
The Lions Arena offers ice skating and hockey tournaments through the winter months. The Nutana Curling Club has various leagues that you can join and also hosts the Irish Pavilion during the popular FolkFest in August. Hunters Bowling Centre provides 5 and 10 pin bowling to the area as well.
