Kelsey Woodlawn is a central Saskatoon community. Primarily industrial, there are a number of residential areas sprinkled throughout featuring single-family homes, duplexes and semi-detached homes. The 94 acre landscaped Woodlawn Cemetery is the only active cemetery in city limits. There are also two small parks accounting for approximately 8 acres that include ball diamonds and playgrounds.
A number of strip malls provide retails options for residents as well as a couple of popular fitness centres. Idylwyld Drive gives quick access to more commercial options and with Warman Road, downtown is only minutes away. Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Saskatoon’s technical education and skills training post-secondary school, is located on the outskirts of the community, making the community popular with students and faculty of the school. They also have the benefit of being close to Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre, which features high diving boards, climbing walls and fitness room.
