New Homes for Sale in Exhibition
Exhibition is a central Saskatoon neighbourhood on the east bank of the South Saskatchewan River. This community is home to many unique attractions. Prairieland Park is where the annual Saskatoon Exhibition is hosted as well as many festivals, trade shows and various other events are held throughout the year.
Found next door, Diefenbaker Park includes a medium-sized hill that’s a popular spot in winter for tobogganing and snowboarding. The Saskatoon Optimist Club is currently raising money to expand the hill and turn it into a true winter park. Diefenbaker Park is also home to the Canada Day celebrations and various events & celebrations are held there throughout the year. On a nice day, enjoy a walk along the many paths through the park and along the river, a game of disc-golf or some cross-country skiing.
Also found in the neighbourhood is the Western Development Museum, where you can take a step back in time and visit the 1910-era “Boomtown” and see old buildings, artifacts, vehicles and farm equipment. They have many annual events to attend, like the Festival of Trees and Christmas Craft Fair. Finish your visit there and check out the Marquis Downs Racetrack where you can watch live thoroughbred horse races and place your bets!
These popular attractions and the close proximity to Stonegate Shopping Centre and Saskatoon’s downtown make the Exhibition area a very desirable neighbourhood to live in.
