First Avenue Homes, in partnership with National Home Warranty, provides an excellent warranty program and scheduled customer care visits (inspections at 6 months and 1 year after possession). Shortly after possession you will be receiving a package from National Home Warranty outlining the specifics of your warranty.

What’s Covered for 2 Years?
Delivery & Distribution

This primarily covers defects in labour and materials related to heating, plumbing, electrical delivery and distribution systems.

What’s Covered for 5 Years?
Building Envelope

This covers defects in the building envelope (the outside shell of the home, including the roof, insulation and exterior walls), including those resulting in water penetration.

What’s Covered for 10 Years?
Structural Components

This covers defects in the major structural components of your home, including its frame and foundation.
