Fayetteville is a youth-oriented, artistic city with the amenities of a much more populous area. The wealth of nature surrounding Fayetteville offers plenty of opportunities to get outside. The city is dwarfed by Mount Sequoyah in the east, and Kessler Mountain Regional Park in the south. The beautiful Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is located in the north end of the city. This popular spot features 12 gardens planted with local plants, and the only native butterfly house in the region.
