The Pacific

A 39-storey residential tower in the heart of Downtown Vancouver

Located on a storied site by downtown Vancouver’s bright southern shore, The Pacific will include a 39-storey residential tower with 224 elegant homes and the restoration of an iconic heritage house.

We engaged architects ACDF* and IBI to design a sophisticated building that responds to its prominent location at the corner of Pacific and Hornby Streets in downtown Vancouver – an established residential neighbourhood undergoing an exciting evolution.

The Pacific will target a measurable reduction in energy and water use through LEED Gold certification, and a design that includes high-performance triple-glazed windows on the north and south facades, and balconies on the east and west facades that naturally cool the building with shade.

Interiors by SQ1 are inspired the tower’s timeless architecture and have been meticulously planned for ultimate form and function. Italian millwork by Snaidero is custom configured for every kitchen, bathroom, and master walk-in closet.

The Pacific began construction in 2018 and is anticipated to complete in 2021.
