Woodsmere Holdings Corp. (“Woodsmere”) is a holding company, which maintains a real estate portfolio.

Under the direction of its President, Daniel Jadresko and Comptroller Sandy Jadresko the long term goals of Woodsmere are to develop and manage real estate holdings throughout western Canada.

Registered in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and poised for expansion into Saskatchewan in the near future, Woodsmere’s main focus is residential apartment and townhome style housing projects.

Woodsmere undertakes extensive market research studies throughout western Canada and has identified and focused on communities in Alberta with a critical shortage of apartment style housing units available for rent.

Our market research includes discussions and correspondence with corporations such as CMHC (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation), various financial institutions, Municipal planning staff, realtors, apartment managers, apartment owners and residents in various localities. Woodsmere’s professional engineers and architects work closely with planning staff in cities throughout western Canada to bring our developments to completion.

This approach will continue into the future. Woodsmere owns and manages good quality buildings, which are esthetically pleasing, well maintained and safe.

Our buildings are equipped with elevators for better access for all age groups: fire sprinklers for safety; extra insulation for less sound transmission between units, gas fired hot water heat and gas fired domestic hot water.

Woodsmere maintains a high level of maintenance to keep its properties esthetically pleasing. The goal of Woodsmere is to provide quality housing in good neighbourhoods.

Woodsmere’s tenants include people from all walks of life including: Chemical engineers, X-ray technicians, Mine workers, Butchers, Pen checkers & Rodeo pros, utility company employees, Realtors, Bar managers, Military personal, Hotel desk clerks, Boy scout leaders, Engineers, University students, Gas & oil field workers, University professors, Business owners, Radio broadcasters, Welders, Painters, Actors, Accountants and retired seniors.

Woodsmere plans to maintain and operate these properties for the long-term investments and manages them to the highest standards. Woodsmere has focused on the Alberta market since the fall of 2000.

To date, we have developed well over 1,000 units in Alberta and currently own and manage 23 separate apartment buildings throughout the Alberta communities of Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Sylvan Lake, Leduc, Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Grand Prairie and currently Ft. St. John.

Since its inception in May 1999, Woodsmere has been very active in the rental market. Over the years, Woodsmere along with W & J Construction Ltd., also owned and operated by Mr. Jadresko, have built a strong reputation to become one of the industry’s leading companies.
