Woodcliffe Landmark Properties

After founding Woodcliffe Landmark Properties in 1996, Paul Oberman, began restoring significant heritage buildings, making them adaptable to modern life and ensuring their economic viability. Paul passed away in March, 2011 and his wife Eve Lewis, an accomplished real estate professional and owner of MarketVision Real Estate Corporation and Urbanation assumed leadership and management of Woodcliffe.

Woodcliffe developed an extensive commercial real estate portfolio in Ontario and Quebec including iconic landmark buildings such as the North Toronto Station, (Summerhill LCBO), King James Place and the Shops of Summerhill. In the process, the company was honoured with numerous architectural awards, including the prestigious Corporate Award from Heritage Canada and Governer General’s Award for Architecture. Woodcliffe worked in close collaboration with the heritage preservation communities, governments and local interest groups to maintain the architectural integrity of every heritage project, holding all those involved to the highest quality standards.

The recent redevelopment of Market Street is testament to the integrity, creativity and ethical manner on which Woodcliffe bases its principles. The company's vision ensures that the buildings and larger scale developments are true to their heritage and are celebrated by their respective constituents. The company has developed properties in Toronto's Rosedale/Summerhill neighbourhood and the historic downtown St. Lawrence neighbourhood. Their most recent project, at 505 Richmond Street West, called Waterworks, is the redevelopment of one of Toronto’s most iconic historic properties into a contemporary mixed-use building with a sensitively restored heritage component.
