Janus Homes was created when the founder, Andy Pawson, realized a need existed in the current house building market in Southern Alberta. He was tired of seeing large home builders mass-producing the same houses repeatedly in an attempt to maximize their own profits. He grew frustrated seeing the home builders' clients passed between so many company employees – from sales people to drafters to designers to administrators and so on – only to take up countless hours of time and rarely leaving the homeowner with a satisfied and proud feeling on the biggest investment of their lives. So he decided to make a change.
 
Andy dreamt of one dedicated individual who was there for you from step one until completion. He dreamt of clear and quick communication throughout the process. He dreamt of a process that left the clients feeling proud of their new and truly custom project. And since 2011, he has been living this dream.
