Avalon Master Builder
WE LOVE OUR CUSTOMERS.
And we aren’t afraid to show it!
It’s just one of the side effects of being a small company – your interactions with your customers are face to face and much more personal. You get to connect with the person who is going to make one of your products their home, so every aspect of your job takes on greater meaning. Caring is something that just happens without even having to try. We love our customers, which is why we’ve always believed in building beautiful homes that are also affordable and environmentally friendly.
We think our buyers deserve the best of both worlds – sustainability and style. That is why we say “yes” to things like solar panels, but also to beautiful granite countertops. And so far, it is working for us. We received the Alberta New Home Warranty Program achievement award for 25 Years With No Outstanding Customer Complaints, which just goes to show what some top-notch customer service can do.
BEHIND EVERY SUCCESS STORY THERE IS A PAIR OF PROUD PARENTS.
Okay, maybe not, but there definitely is behind this one.
Steve and Joyce Scott founded Avalon in 1983. Much to their delight their son, Ryan, took an interest in homebuilding and, in 1995, joined the family business. He is now the president and CEO. Both Steve and Joyce couldn’t be prouder of all Avalon has accomplished in the care of his capable hands.
Year after year Avalon continues to deliver the high level of customer satisfaction that was a tenet of its offering when the Scott’s first began building homes decades earlier. And it’s not just Mom and Dad that are proud. Avalon has received its fair share of industry awards over the years. Let’s just say Joyce may or may not have them proudly displayed on the mantelpiece.
A HOME CAN ONLY BE AS GOOD AS THE BLUEPRINTS.
And a company can only be as good as its vision.
We have 35 years of experience under our tool belts. During this time, in addition to building some great homes for some great people, we’ve also been refining our vision of who we want to be. In a nutshell, here it is:
We want to build net-zero homes at no extra cost to our homeowners. We want to work with extraordinary people. We want to use innovative building ideas and designs to create better living and healthy homes for our customers and the environment.
Yes, it’s a tall order, but we figure someone’s going to build awesome, environmentally friendly homes in the Calgary area, and it might as well be us.
